Sponsored by SUNY Oswego's Pride Alliance and Division of Student Affairs, Lavender Graduation is an event in which LGBTQ+ students acknowledge what they have accomplished, as well as what they hope to accomplish in the future. This semester's Lavender Graduation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, May 1, in the Marano Campus Center auditorium.

For students who want to up their game for the second half of the semester, the Office of Learning Services offers opportunities to take their reading skills to the next level.

SUNY Oswego’s university-wide Budget Advisory Group will meet via webinar from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Tuesday, March 19.

SUNY Oswego's Theatre Department announced a 2024-25 season that will explore poignant and compelling themes while providing students opportunities to shine on and off stage.

This season offers a diverse range of productions, including “The Laramie Project,” “John Proctor is the Villain” and the musical “Tuck Everlasting.” 

The Adult Student Assistance Program (ASAP) will host a virtual session on the services of Penfield Library and the Office of Learning Services at 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 20.

This session will introduce how these entities can help students in their academic journeys.

ASAP is designed to help adult learners connect with SUNY Oswego and other students.

SUNY Oswego’s IRS-certified Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program will return to provide free tax assistance for the community in Oswego and Fulton locations this spring.

Those signing up should call 315-596-2551 to leave a message with their name and phone number to schedule an appointment. All messages will be returned within 24 hours.

Multi-factor authentication (MFA) is a critical security measure for protecting university data in email accounts. It adds an extra layer of protection by requiring users to provide two or more verification factors to access an account.  

Opportunities are still available for fifth and sixth graders to enroll for the remote Young Inventors program hosted by SUNY Oswego's Technology Department and its KidsTech program.

Participants in this STEM learning program can come from anywhere in New York state, thanks to generous funding from National Grid U.S. The program cost is modest and organizers can waive the registration fee if there is financial need.
