The brassy sounds of the Bacchus Saxophone Quartet will fill the Sheldon Hall ballroom for the next Focus on Faculty concert at 3 p.m. on Sunday, March 24.

SUNY Oswego’s Music Department will offer a fast-moving fundraising show with its annual “Collage” concert, starting at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, March 1, in Tyler Hall’s Waterman Theatre.

SUNY Oswego’s Tyler Art Gallery will present an exhibition titled “Grant Arnold and the Golden Era of Woodstock Lithography – 1930-1940,” running from March 1 to 30 and including a pair of special events.

Marcus Simmons -- a conductor, voice teacher, worship coach and Emmy Award-winner -- will perform a recital featuring a historic overview of African-American songs from the field to the concert stage at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 21, in 11 Tyler Hall on the SUNY Oswego campus.

Subnivean, SUNY Oswego’s student-staffed digital publication, has announced two prestigious final judges for the 2024 Subnivean Awards. The most recent recipient of the Academy of American Poets Fellowship for distinguished poetic achievement, Major Jackson, will be the final judge in poetry, while Gish Jen, recipient of the Lannan Literary Award for Fiction and a Guggenheim fellowship, will be the final judge in fiction.

Actors from the London Stage, a dynamic five-actor touring company, will present the popular Shakespeare comedy “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 15, in SUNY Oswego’s Waterman Theatre.

The 61st annual Juried Student Art Exhibition, showcasing some of the top work among SUNY Oswego students, is now open through Feb. 18 in Tyler Art Gallery.
