SUNY Oswego’s College of Communication, Media and the Arts (CMA) invites students, faculty, staff, alumni and community members to an Open House celebrating the newly renovated Hewitt Hall on Saturday, Oct. 25, from noon to 2:30 p.m.
National Transfer Student Week, running Oct. 20 to 24, celebrates that around one out of every three Oswego students comes in as a transfer and offers a variety of events and opportunities to learn more about transfer stories.
A public relations major from New York Mills, Gianna LaBella transferred to Oswego from Mohawk Valley Community College in Utica with an associate’s degree in digital media and marketing.
A meteorology major from Queens, Sy Sosa Medina transferred from CUNY Kingsborough Community College with an associate’s degree in Earth and planetary sciences.
Originally from North Carolina before moving to New York state, Enrile is an information science major who transferred from Onondaga Community College.
The spirit of service was alive and well last month as SUNY Oswego’s Office of Workforce Innovation and External Relations (OWIER) hosted the 52nd Annual Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) of Oswego County Volunteer Recognition Luncheon.
