Overview

Our interdisciplinary program seamlessly blends principles and techniques from computer science, graphic design and social sciences, empowering you to master user-centered design approaches. You’ll gain the skills needed to craft information and communication technologies, including websites, mobile apps, computer games and software design.

Choose between two distinct tracks: one that delves exclusively into HCI influences or a professional track enriched with relevant business courses, allowing you to tailor your academic journey to your specific interests and goals.

Tracks

Project/Thesis

Within this track, your emphasis will lean towards hands-on experiential learning through project-based activities and experimental environments. Throughout the program, your proficiency in teamwork and knowledge application will be continually challenged through various project courses. For those inclined towards research, there is also the option to pursue an in-depth culminating thesis as part of your academic journey.

Professional

The hybrid track combines the essential HCI curriculum with management, marketing and other industry-relevant skills derived from our renowned, nationally accredited MBA program. In a rapidly evolving landscape, companies seek professionals capable of bridging revolutionary discoveries with practical marketplace applications. Our professional track places you at the interdisciplinary nexus that will shape the future of technology and business.

All of my life I’ve been these two people. I am interested in science fiction and technology and I’m also an artist and designer. HCI meant I could pursue both of those things.
