Parking updates/changes

August 2018

Vehicles with valid Commuter and Resident permits (stickers) are permitted to park in Employee parking lots after 5 PM Monday through Friday.  This is a change to the previous time of 3PM.

July 2017

 Please Note:  The Parking Office will no longer take credit cards at the Parking Office.  Credit cards can still be used to pay online.

Parking Fees

SEMESTER                                     $50 plus tax (parking fee) + $10 (processing fee) = $64

ACADEMIC YEAR                          $100 plus tax (parking fee) + $10 (processing fee) = $118

ANNUAL                                         $120 plus tax (parking fee) + $10 (processing fee) = $129.60

Student teacher parking information

Parking on SUNY Oswego grounds for student teachers is arranged as follows between the School of Education and University Police.

Commuting student teachers are the only group of full time registered students that Parking Services has exempted from paying the full time rate for parking due to the limited number of times per semester that you will be required to come to main campus during this semester as a student teacher. This is provided as a courtesy to our student teachers.

  1. What is the mission of the parking program?
    The mission of the parking program is intended to safeguard the general welfare of the college community members and guests and to promote order and ease of movement on the campus by supplementing the New York State Motor Vehicle and Traffic Law, which is in full force and effect on the campus.

Parking regulations

Resolved that the amendments to the Regulations for Vehicular and Pedestrian Traffic and Parking adopted by the Council at the State University of New York at Oswego, Part 583 of Title 8 of the Official Compilation of Codes, Rules and Regulations of the State of New York be, and hereby are, approved in accordance with resolution 72-186 adopted August 17, 1972, as last amended by Resolution 81-194 adopted September 23, 1981 (Part 560 of Title 8 of the Official Compilation of Codes, Rules and Regulations of the State of New York).
