The Finger Lakes Trio will perform a range of classical music at 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 11, in the Sheldon Hall ballroom as part of the Ke-Nekt Chamber Music Series.

SUNY Oswego’s annual “Collage” concert, supporting music department scholarships, will feature a range of student and faculty performers starting at 7:30 p.m. Friday, March 6, in Tyler Hall’s Waterman Theatre.

Hugo Vera, an in-demand tenor on the Metropolitan Opera roster, will perform a program titled “What About Love?” at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 7, in SUNY Oswego’s Sheldon Hall ballroom, as part of the college’s Ke-Nekt Chamber Music Series.

Performers from the campus and community will come together for the SUNY Oswego music department’s annual holiday concert at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 3, at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, 103 W. 7th St. in Oswego.

Months of work by dozens of SUNY Oswego students to create a holiday TV special will be unveiled at a special viewing party at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 5, in the Marano Campus Center auditorium.

International-award-winning pianist Robert Auler, professor and chair of music at SUNY Oswego, will present a Focus on Faculty concert of classical works at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 24, in the college’s Sheldon Hall ballroom.

Michael James Olson will present an eclectic, inventive program blending electronic music with live instruments in the next installment of SUNY Oswego’s Ke-Nekt Chamber Music Series, 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 6, in the Sheldon Hall ballroom.

David Cook, an accomplished pianist, composer and musical director, will open the season for SUNY Oswego’s Ke-Nekt Chamber Music Series by teaming up with the college’s Oswego Jazz Project (OJP) for a 7:30 p.m. concert Wednesday, Oct. 23, in the Sheldon Hall ballroom.

Damian Schofield, director of SUNY Oswego's graduate program in human-computer interaction (HCI), has earned the 2019 President's Award for Scholarly and Creative Activity at the college, while composer Paul Leary of the music department received the Provost's Award for Scholarly and Creative Activity.
