SUNY Oswego’s integrative professional studies (IPS) degree program has been recognized nationally with the American Association for Adult and Continuing Education (AAACE) Malcolm S. Knowles Award for outstanding achievement in adult education.

The “Golden Ticket” promotion from SUNY Oswego’s Division of Extended Learning has earned the Continuing Education Association of New York (CEANY) Exemplary Marketing Program Award, conferred at the association’s annual conference in November.

Balancing work, life and education, students like J White and Shayla Shuler are thriving in SUNY Oswego’s fully online IPS program. With flexible courses and supportive faculty, they’re turning passion into purpose and building bold new futures.

SUNY Oswego’s SHOP (Student Helping Oz Peers) pantry recently expanded its reach, opening in the university’s Syracuse Campus and offering even more help to adult learners. A Feb. 12 grand opening celebrated the new location and the successful effort to better support the students the Syracuse Campus services.

SUNY Oswego’s Division of Extended Learning recently received the UPCEA 2024 Excellence in Enrollment Management Award for outstanding work in academic advisement and support for adult learners enrolled in its main campus, Syracuse Campus and online programs.

SUNY Oswego continues to rank among the most military-friendly and supportive universities, according to the Military Times Best for Vets: Colleges ranking, released in November 2024.

SUNY Oswego’s commitment to supporting a wide range of students has earned ongoing recognition, including with Abound College Awards including under the Finish College Awards for Best Online Colleges: North 2024 and Best Colleges for Adults: 2024.

Registration is now open for SUNY Oswego’s Summer Sessions, with more than 350 courses in a wide variety of undergraduate and graduate disciplines.
