The Laker women's and men's hockey teams are teaming up with the State Employees Federated Appeal (SEFA) and the United Way of Greater Oswego County to spread some holiday cheer on ice from 5 to 7 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 7, in the Deborah F. Stanley Arena and Convocation Hall.

In this popular holiday tradition, campus and community members of all ages will have the opportunity to skate with players from the women's team coached by Mark Digby and the men's team coached by Ed Gosek, as well as enjoy a visit from Santa Claus and chances to win a Lakers hockey jersey.

There is a $3 charge for all skaters, with all proceeds benefitting the United Way of Oswego County. Skates are available for rental for an additional $3.

Visit the SEFA website to learn more about SEFA and how it supports community causes.
