Site puts Oswego among top in state for on-campus living

College search site Niche added another honor for Oswego, placing on-campus living facilities among its 2019 Best College Dorms in New York state.

Oswego's residence halls came in at #22, second in Central New York behind SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry.

SUNY Oswego counseling and psychological services professor Jodi Mullen has instilled what she has learned from research, working as a play therapist, and from children themselves in a new book, “Raising Freakishly Well Behaved Kids: 20 Principles for Becoming the Parent Your Child Needs.”

Every Wednesday from Sept. 26 and Oct. 17, STEM 4 Kids invites children in first through third grades to engage in exciting hands-on activities focused on the relationships among the different components of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics).

The annual Oswego Reading Initiative will welcome award-winning novelist and essayist Valeria Luiselli to SUNY Oswego on Thursday, Sept. 27, to discuss her 2017 extended essay "Tell Me How It Ends," an exploration of the journey of undocumented Central American children as they are vetted through the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.
