Acclaimed educator, author and activist Angela Davis will keynote SUNY Oswego’s 33rd annual Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration on Wednesday, Feb. 9.

Auditions for 'The Wedding Singer' slated Feb. 4, 5

Students are invited to take part in auditions for the spring musical "The Wedding Singer." Auditions will take place on Feb. 4 (dance call) and Feb. 5 (acting, singing and callbacks) in 42 Tyler Hall.

Theatre faculty Jonel Langenfeld-Rial, who directs the production with music direction by fellow faculty member Alan Martin, expressed excitement about the opportunity to put on the popular musical adaptation for the campus community, and invites a wide variety of talent to audition. The show will run from April 20 to 24.

Deadline this week for SEFA candy sale

The college's State Employee Federated Appeans (SEFA) Planning Committee has teamed up with longtime Oswego business Stone's Candies for a Valentine's Day Candy Sale, with a 5 p.m. Friday, Jan. 28, order deadline.

Members of the campus community can urchase gift boxes filled with three pieces of homemade solid milk chocolate for $12 each.

The college’s State Employees Federated Appeal (SEFA) campaign is teaming up with Students Helping Oz Peers (SHOP) pantry to collect new or clean, gently used coats, hats, scarves, gloves and mittens to stock their shelves for the spring semester.

The college partners with the Governor’s Office of Employee Relations Work Life Services to again offer virtual Winter/Spring 2022 New York State Pre-Retirement Sessions from February to June 2022.
