Parking permits for the upcoming 2022-2023 academic year are now available and can be ordered online by visiting the Parking Portal website. 

Update on Blackboard to Brightspace course migrations and trainings

As a reminder, the campus is migrating from Blackboard to Brightspace for the fall 2022 semester. All courses taught with or supplemented by Blackboard will need to migrate. To begin the transition, some pilot courses are being taught in Brightspace over the summer 2022 semester.

SUNY Oswego recognizes its high academic achievers with its Deans' List for spring 2022. Deans' List students are those attaining semester grade-point averages between 3.3 and 3.79 while carrying required academic credits.

President's List for spring 2022

SUNY Oswego recognizes its highest academic achievers with its President's List for spring 2022. President's List students are those attaining semester grade-point averages of 3.8 or higher while carrying required academic credits.

Lake Effect Cafe reopens with summer hours

June 30, 2022

Lake Effect Cafe on the first floor of Penfield Library is open again with summer hours of 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.  through July 28.

The cafe serves Starbucks coffee, cold drinks, sandwiches, salads and entrees to go, along with a variety of snacks and pastries.

Seeking student Laker Link staff to welcome newcomers

The Department of Student Orientation and Family Engagement is seeking highly motivated returning students to serve as Laker Links to support the execution of Laker Launch, an extended orientation program for new incoming first-year and transfer students in August. 

This is a paid position that also covers room costs (for on-campus students) and meal costs for all those selected for this position.
