Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month (AAPI) throughout May is a time to celebrate and recognize the contributions and achievements of Asian and Pacific Islander Americans to the nation's history, culture and society. 

The Asian Pacific American community is made up of more than 50 distinct ethnic groups, including Chinese, Filipino, Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese, Hawaiian, Samoan, Cambodian, Uzbekistan and many others. Each group has its own unique history, traditions, and contributions to the United States.

Student entrepreneurs’ assistive gaming technology places second in state business competition

Family-friendly event to feature student film on history of Fort Ontario

The CSS 385: "Children's Literature and Film" class will screen their 16mm short film "The History of Fort Ontario" at the Oswego Public Library from 11 a.m. to noon on Friday, May 12. A shadow puppet activity will follow the screening.

This project was created in partnership with Fort Ontario in SUNY Oswego's Media Archeology Lab, and funded by the Shineman Endowed Fund.
