Login updates happening Friday for multiple services

October 27, 2023

On Friday, Nov. 3, from 7:50 to 8 a.m., the SUNY hosting provider will perform login maintenance. There may be a brief momentary login interruption for these services. These services include but are not limited to:

  • Brightspace
  • SUNY Time and Attendance
  • Banner
  • DegreeWorks

If you experience a login issue to these services, please refresh your browser after 60 seconds and attempt the login again.

SUNY Oswego senior biology major Naw Ka Paw Paw recently joined a distinguished list of SUNY Educational Opportunity student ambassadors, a role in which she advocates for and promotes this program that opens doors to higher education for students.

Furniture Fair to play role in future furnishings

The Office of Residential Life and Housing will offer the campus an opportunity to play an active role in selecting what furniture will grace common areas in the future.

The Furniture Fair -- 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 1, and 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 2 -- will take place on the Marano Campus Center concourse and let people vote on future furnishings.

Brightspace updates include new widgets

On Friday, Oct. 27, 2023, three new widgets will be added to the Brightspace Campus home page and the discussion topic editor will be updated.

News Widget

The News widget replaces the Announcement widget. This widget allows us to post important information concerning Brightspace without sending an email notification to all campus faculty, staff and students.

Mark Kellogg Quintet to perform Nov. 8

The Mark Kellogg Quintet will perform a wide-ranging set at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 8, as part of SUNY Oswego’s Ke-Nekt Chamber Music Series.

President Nwosu to host student drop-in meetings today

SUNY Oswego President Peter Nwosu will host the next student drop-in session today -- Thursday, Oct. 26, 2023 -- from 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. in the Rich ‘N’ Pour Cafe in Rich Hall.

All students are encouraged to drop in, say hello to President Nwosu, ask a question or discuss a topic important to you.

Theatre honors society to host Haunted Trail

A Haunted Trail event will take place from 8 p.m. to midnight tonight (Oct. 27), hosted by the SUNY Oswego chapter of Alpha Psi Omega, the Theatre Honors Society.

The event will take place at the Hidden Fields (right outside of The Village).
