Division of Student Affairs Advisory Board (DSAAB) issues Spring 2023 Call for Applications

The Division of Student Affairs Advisory Board (DSAAB), designed to ensure open communication between a representative body of students and the individuals charged with providing leadership within the Division of Student Affairs at SUNY Oswego, is seeking additional members this semester. 

On March 4, Penfield Library at SUNY Oswego will team up with Zonta Club of Oswego for Maker Madness, a celebration of International Women's Day filled with lots of STEAM (Science Technology Engineering Art Math) fun from 1 to 4:30 p.m.

The Three-Minute Thesis (3MT) competition returns to campus at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, March 8, in the Marano Campus Center auditorium, room 132.

The SUNY Oswego community is saddened by the recent death of Dr. Walter B. Roettger, who passed away on Sunday, January 29, 2023. Roettger served as Oswego’s acting provost and vice president for academic affairs from April 2016 to July 2017.

I am pleased to announce the 2023 Oswego Reading Initiative (ORI) selection: "Corruptible: Who Gets Power and How It Changes Us."

Institutions may face a range of emergencies including an off-campus threat nearby, natural and human-made disasters, fires, medical emergencies, or violent incidents. As such, it is important to ensure that the university has a comprehensive, all hazards emergency response plan in place to prepare for and respond to a range of issues.

SUNY Oswego's Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) is looking for student summer peer leaders, who act as role models and set the tone for incoming EOP students during the 2023 EOP Summer Program. 

Peer leaders receive free housing, meals and compensation during the summer program.  You do not need to be an EOP student to apply.

Those interested in more information are encouraged to attend an information session at 3:45 p.m. Monday, Jan. 30, in Penfield Library.
