Throughout the past year, SUNY Oswego has engaged with students, alumni, faculty, staff and administrators in an institution-wide Branding Exploration – a self-reflective marketing initiative that seeks to gain a greater understanding of the Oswego brand, and collectively aims to define the institution’s identity.

As the fall 2019 semester draws to a close and we near the completion of the “Discovery” phase of the Branding Initiative, I am pleased to announce four meetings/workshops that will take place this week, in which faculty, staff and students will have dedicated opportunities to participate and share their perspectives.

  • Faculty Assembly
    Monday, Nov. 18
    3 pm, 104 Lanigan

  • STUDENT Workshop
    Wednesday, Nov. 20
4:30 pm, Penfield Library 215 (Speakers’ Corner classroom)
    Refreshments will be served.

  • FACULTY Workshop
    Thursday, Nov. 21
3:30 pm, Penfield Library 215 (Speakers’ Corner classroom)
    Refreshments will be served.

  • STAFF Workshop
    Friday, Nov. 22
9 am, 114 Marano Campus Center (MCC 114)
    Refreshments will be served.

If you are not able to attend one of these workshops, please consider
sharing your thoughts by completing a brief questionnaire on the Branding website [oswego.edu/brand]. Your input will guide us as we complete an Institutional Recognition and Identity Existing Conditions report this winter and share with the college community this spring.

Much appreciation,
