With another academic year at SUNY Oswego starting in days, 2019-20 parking permits are still available online by visiting Oswego's parking website, and clicking on the Parking Portal tab. In addition, the Parking Office on Route 104 just east of the college's main entrance will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. this Saturday and Sunday (Aug. 24 and 25).

As you plan your parking needs for this year, below are some parking highlights and information with which you should familiarize yourself.

  • All students, employees, guests and visitors must have a valid permit to park on campus. Permits are not valid until affixed to the windshield of the registered vehicle.
  • Resident East parking permits (East zone parking for lakeside dorms Scales, Waterbury, Riggs and Johnson, as well as the Lonis/Mackin/Moreland complex) are already sold out due to high demand.
  • An economical option for commuter students offers a $20 Park and Ride option in Lot #7 (the Romney Lot) for the entire academic year (both the fall 2019 and spring 2020 semesters). Purchase this permit, park your car, and catch Centro bus service to campus with shuttle service. Park and Ride permits allow parking in any campus commuter lot after 5 p.m. and from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. on weekends.
  • NOTE: Students may park in employee designated lots only after 5 p.m.

You can choose to have your permit mailed to you at the address you select (please allow seven to 10 business days for processing and mailing), or you can opt to pick up your permit at the Parking Services Office with your SUNY Oswego ID.  Remember, the Parking Office on Route 104 just east of the college's main entrance will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. this Saturday and Sunday (Aug. 24 and 25).
