The college welcomed new tenure-track and/or endowed faculty in the School of Business and School of Education at New Faculty and Staff Orientation. Jamie Adams: Jamie joins the Provost's Office as sustainability program director. She holds a B.A. in English writing arts and theatre from SUNY Oswego and a M.F.A. in screenwriting and film production from Chapman University. Jamie's most recent position was as coordinator of new initiatives at SUNY Oswego. 

Elizabeth Benevento: Elizabeth joins the department of health promotion and wellness as a visiting assistant professor. She holds a B.S. in biology with concentration in health professions from LeMoyne College and a M.S. in science education: biology from Syracuse University. Elizabeth's most recent position was as a teaching assistant at Syracuse University. 

Isabelle Bichindaritz: Isabelle joins the department of computer science as an assistant professor. She holds a M.Sc. in computer science from the University of Parish VI Pierre et Marie Curie and a Ph.D. in computer science from the University of Paris V Rene Descartes. Isabelle's most recent position was as an assistant professor at the University of Washington Tacoma. 

Evan Bigam: Evan joins Residence Life and Housing as a community development specialist. He holds a B.A. in classical civilization/medieval studies from Binghamton University and a M.S. in student affairs administration from Binghamton University. Evan's most recent position was as an area coordinator at SUNY Cortland. 

Michele Bishop: Michele joins Penfield Library as a senior assistant librarian. She holds a M.L.I.S. in library and information science from Rutgers University and a B.A. in Spanish from Middlebury College. Michele's most recent position was as a reference librarian at Union County College and Plainfield Public Library. 

Jeffrey Bradbury: Jeffrey joins the department of communication studies as an assistant professor. He holds a B.A. in audio production and recording from Ithaca College and a M.S. in television/radio from Syracuse University. Jeffrey's most recent position was as an assistant professor at Ithaca College and adjunct professor at Syracuse University. 

Graham Bradley: Graham joins the department of earth sciences as an assistant professor. He holds a B.S. in geology and geography from the University of St Andrews, Scotland, a M.S. in engineering geology from the University of Leeds, England, and a Ph.D. in Geoscience from University College London, England. Graham's most recent position was as a doctoral researcher and teaching assistant at University College London UK. 

Greg Brewster: Greg joins the department of theatre as an electronics specialist. He holds a B.A. in Theatre from SUNY Oswego. Greg's most recent position was as an electrician and video technician for the 25th Anniversary Tour of Les Miserables. 

Marsha Burney: Marsha joins Residence Life and Housing as a residence hall director for Seneca Hall. She holds a B.A. in psychology and communication studies from Texas State University and a M.A. in communication studies from Texas State University. Marsha's most recent position was as a communications instructor at Texas State University. 

Christopher Chandler: Christopher joins the department of biology as an assistant professor. He holds a B.A. in biological sciences from Cornell University and a Ph.D. in ecology and evolutionary biology from Iowa State University. Christopher's most recent position was as a postdoctoral researcher at Michigan State University. 

Amanda Copes: Amanda joins Residence Life and Housing as a residence hall director for Oneida Hall. She holds a B.A. in communication from Central Connecticut State University and a M.A. in management and leadership from Webster University. Amanda's most recent position was as a residence hall director at Mitchell College. 

Shakuntala Das: Shakuntala joins the department of economics as a visiting assistant professor. She holds a M.A. in economics from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. Shakuntala's most recent position was as a visiting assistant professor at Denison University. 

Melissa Dodd: Melissa joins the department of communication studies as an assistant professor. She holds a M.A. in public relations from Ball State University and a Ph.D. in communication/public relations from the University of Miami. Melissa's most recent position was as a doctoral candidate at the University of Miami School of Communication. 

Tammy Elowsky: Tammy joins the office of Business and Community Relations as assistant director. She holds a B.S. in business administration from SUNY Oswego and a M.S. in hospitality management from Rochester Institute of Technology. Tammy's most recent position was in human resources and training at Entergy's James A. FitzPatrick Nuclear Power Plant. 

Benjamin Entner: Benjamin joins the department of art as an assistant professor. He holds a B.A. in Renaissance and Medieval studies from SUNY Albany and a M.F.A. in sculpture from Syracuse University. Benjamin's most recent position was as a design and sales director for Europe at Scratch-Tracks LLC. 

Elise Fitzsimmons: Elise joins the department of intercollegiate athletics as an assistant athletic trainer. She holds a B.S. in athletic training and clinical management from Bowling Green State University and a M.S. in sport psychology from Capella University. Elise's most recent position was as head athletic trainer at SUNY Cobleskill. 

Jennifer Fogel: Jennifer joins the department of communication studies as a visiting assistant professor. She holds a M.A. in media studies from Syracuse University and a Ph.D. in mass communication from the University of Michigan. Jennifer's most recent position was as a graduate instructor at the University of Michigan. 

Theresa Gilliard-Cook: Theresa joins the Division of Extended Learning as an instructional designer. She holds a B.S. and M.S. in information management and technology from Syracuse University. Theresa's most recent position was as design team and instructional designer at Project Advance, Syracuse. 

Juliet Aires Giglio: Juliet joins the department of English and creative writing as a visiting assistant professor. She holds a B.A. in English from Dartmouth College and a M.F.A. in film and television from New York University, Tisch School of the Arts. Juliet's most recent position was as an adjunct professor at Syracuse University. 

Audrey Hager: Audrey joins the department of psychology as a visiting assistant professor. She holds a B.A. in cognitive science from SUNY Oswego and a M.Sc & Ph.D. in psychology from Queen's University. Audrey's most recent position was as a teaching fellow at Queen's University.

Jennie Han: Jennie joins the department of political science as an assistant professor. She holds a Ph.D. in political science from the University of Chicago and a J.D. in law from Yale Law School. Jennie's most recent position was as a postdoctoral fellow and instructor at Bard College. 

Peter Howe: Peter joins the department of economics as a visiting assistant Professor. He holds a M.S. in management from SUNY Oswego and a Ph.D. in economics from Syracuse University. Peter's most recent position was as an assistant professor of economics at Cazenovia College. 

Christopher Kopacki: Christopher joins the department of public justice as a visiting assistant professor. He holds a M.S. in criminal justice from Virginia Commonwealth University and an A.B.D. in public policy and administration from Virginia Commonwealth University. Christopher's most recent position was as an instructor and program coordinator at Virginia Commonwealth University. 

Christopher Leahey: Christopher joins the department of curriculum and instruction as a visiting assistant professor. He holds an Ed.D. in education theory and practice from Binghamton University and a M.S.Ed in history education from Binghamton University. Christopher's most recent position was as an adjunct professor at Syracuse University. 

Jason Leone: Jason joins the department of intercollegiate athletics as head men's basketball coach. He holds a B.A. in economics from the University of Rochester and a M.S. in instructional technology and media management from SUNY Potsdam. Jason's most recent position was as head men's basketball coach at Keystone College. 

Michael Lotito: Michael joins the Office of Facilities, Design and Construction as an engineering and sustainability coordinator. He holds an A.A.S. in mechanical engineering from SUNY Morrisville and a B.A.S. in mechanical engineering from SUNYIT. 

Nicholas Malchoff: Nicholas joins the Graduate Office as a creative coordinator. He holds a B.A. and M.A. in art from SUNY Oswego. Nicholas's most recent position was as a creative coordinator at SUNY Research Foundation. 

Rebecca Mushtare: Rebecca joins the department of art as an assistant professor. She holds a B.F.A. in graphic design from SUNY Oswego and a M.F.A. in computer art from Syracuse University. Rebecca's most recent position was as an assistant professor of communication arts at Marymount Manhattan College. 

Doreen Mazzye: Doreen joins the department of curriculum and instruction as a visiting assistant professor. She holds a B.S. in elementary education with concentration in English from SUNY Oswego and a M.S.Ed in curriculum and instruction from Gordon College. Doreen's most recent position was as an adjunct professor at SUNY Oswego. 

Christine McCullough: Christine joins the offices of Facilities Services and Residence Life and Housing as capital plan analyst. She holds a B.S. in accounting from Utica College of Syracuse University and a M.S.Ed in vocational-technical education from SUNY Oswego. Christine's most recent position was as vice president of finance at Onondaga Community College.

Anneke McEvoy: Anneke joins the President's Office as a Say Yes to Education Summer Success Program coordinator. 

Patrick Moochler: Patrick joins the department of communication studies as chief broadcasting engineer. 

Jefferson (JJ) O'Connell: JJ joins the department of intercollegiate athletics as head volleyball coach. He holds a B.S. in economics and management science from SUNY Cortland. JJ's most recent position was as head volleyball coach at Stevens Institute of Technology. 

Laura Papish: Laura joins the department of philosophy as an assistant professor. She holds a B.A. in philosophy from Penn State University and a Ph.D. in philosophy from Northwestern University. Laura's most recent position was as a Peterson Visiting Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Johns Hopkins University. 

David Parisian: David joins the department of curriculum and instruction as a visiting assistant professor. He holds a M.S.Ed in education computer technologies from SUNY Potsdam and a Ph.D. in education from The Union Institute. David's most recent position was as an adjunct at SUNY Oswego. 

Aaron Pratt: Aaron joins Campus Technology Services as a desktop support technician. He holds a B.A. in information science from SUNY Oswego. 

Mary Ann Preston: Mary Ann joins Institutional Research and Assessment as a senior staff assistant. She holds a M.S. in statistics from Pennsylvania State University and a M.S. in exercise and sport science from Ithaca College. Mary Ann's most recent position was as a school quality research specialist at Oswego County BOCES. 

Xiaoyu Pu: Xiaoyu joins the department of marketing and management as an assistant professor. She holds a B.S. in computer science from Zhejiang University and a Ph.D. in management: international business from Rutgers Business School.

Michael Quinn: Michael joins the department of history as a visiting assistant professor. He holds a B.A. in history from SUNY Geneseo and a M.A. and Ph.D. in ancient history from the University of Washington. Michael's most recent position was as an adjunct professor at George Mason University. 

Jennifer Rapke: Jennifer joins the department of psychology as a visiting assistant professor. She holds a M.A. in clinical psychology from Spalding University and a Psy.D. in clinical psychology with emphases in health and child, adolescent and family from Spalding University. Jennifer's most recent position was as a licensed psychologist, forensic interviewer, and children's advocacy center program coordinator at the Advocacy and Support Center, Elizabethtown, KY, and adjunct faculty at Western Kentucky University. 

Theo Rhodes: Theo joins the department of psychology as an assistant professor. He holds a Ph.D. in experimental psychology from the University of Connecticut. Theo's most recent position was as a postdoctoral scholar at the University of California, Merced. 

Mary Rodgers: Mary joins the department of accounting, finance and law as the Marcia Belmar Willock Endowed Professor of Finance. She holds a M.B.A. in finance from Northwestern University and a Ph.D. in professional business studies from Pace University. Mary's most recent position was as an assistant professor of finance at the University of South Florida. 

Nicholas Ross: Nicholas joins the department of Campus Technology Services as a Help Desk support specialist. He holds a B.A. in English and cinema studies from SUNY Oswego. 

LeAnne St. Gelais: LeAnne joins the Alumni Office as associate director. She holds a B.S. in psychology, honors program from SUNY Oswego and a M.S. in higher education from Syracuse University. LeAnne's most recent position was as a residence director at Syracuse University.

Alexandra's most recent position was as an admissions counselor at Metropolitan College of New York. 

Laura Spenceley: Laura joins the department of counseling and psychological services as an assistant professor. She holds a M.A. in clinical psychology from Syracuse University and a Ph.D. in school psychology from Syracuse University. Laura's most recent position was as a school psychologist intern in the LaFayette Central School District. 

Angeline Stuckey: Angeline joins the department of psychology as a visiting assistant professor. She holds a M.A. in psychology from Governors State University and an Ed.D. in educational psychology from Northern Illinois University.

Cynthia Tant: Cynthia joins the department of biology as a visiting assistant professor. She holds a M.S. in biology from the University of Alabama and a Ph.D. in ecology from the University of Georgia. Cynthia's most recent position was as a visiting assistant professor at Skidmore College. 

Kubrom Teka: Kubrom joins the department of math as an assistant professor. He holds a B.S. in mathematics from the University of Asmara, Eritrea and a Ph.D. in mathematics from Kansas State University. Kubrom's most recent position was as a graduate teaching assistant in mathematics at Kansas State University. 

David Thompson: David joins the department of intercollegiate athletics as head men's and women's track and field coach. He holds a B.A. from North Central College. David's most recent position was as head track and field coach at the University of Dubuque. 

Emily Thompson: Emily joins Penfield Library as a learning technologies librarian. She holds a B.A. in theatre and history from Drake University and a M.S. in library and information services from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. 

Garrick Utley: Garrick joins the department of communication studies as a professor and senior fellow. He holds a B.A. in political science from Carleton College. Garrick's most recent position was as president of SUNY's Levin Institute.
