Google Maps No Longer Available with Oswego Google Accounts

Per a new policy, Google is no longer offering its Map application on Workspace for Education accounts. This change means you will no longer be able to use Google Maps while your Oswego account is logged into your browser as the primary account. There are two ways around this:


  1. Log out of all Google accounts in your browser. You can do this by clicking on the profile image or initial in the top left of any Google App window. In the menu, choose Sign Out or Sign Out of All Accounts. You can now access Google Maps

  2. Open an Incognito or Private window (they are called different things in different browsers). You will not be logged into anything in this window and can now access Google Maps.


You can log into a personal Google account after completing either of these steps, but it isn’t necessary to access the app.
