Joe Fitzsimmons and Kelli Ariel gave a presentation to the campus community regarding text alternatives. This provides practical insight for web editors when adding multimedia to their site (such as images and video). Multiple examples of alternative text (alt text) usage on images are shown to aid web editors in what choices to make when they are using multimedia on their web site.

The Accessible Oswego website is now live and available for campus-wide use. The site provides guidelines and resources to assist campus faculty, staff and students in understanding accessibility principles. Templates and step-by-step tutorials are also available to help our campus community in the creation of accessible materials.
