Start Now

Start Now is a unique program for students graduating from a high school in one of the five boroughs of New York City. It allows for a seamless transition, with a guarantee that credits will transfer. Students choose between SUNY Jefferson Community College (JCC) and SUNY Onondaga Community College (OCC), where they spend at least their first year, before transferring to SUNY Oswego. Program participation is by invitation.

Transfer merit scholarship

Transfer students should complete the application for admission as early as possible for the following term. No additional scholarship forms are required. Admission applications received by Jan. 15 receive priority for scholarship consideration. Over one-third of the entering class received merit-based scholarship money.
