SUNY Oswego technology students continued to shine in conference competitions, adding a half-dozen honors recently at the TEECA (Technology and Engineering Education Collegiate Association) East Conference in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware.

The 84th edition of the SUNY Oswego Technology Fall Conference, Oct. 26 and 27, will feature the latest developments in teaching technology and a keynote plenary by Dr. Robert Simmons, Head of Social Impact and STEM Programs for Micron Technology and the Micron Foundation.

The annual Iron Pour coordinated by SUNY Oswego’s Department of Technology and Department of Art and Design will take place outdoors on the north side of Tyler Hall on Friday, Oct. 20, from 1 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

SUNY Oswego Technology Student Association (OTSA) members added more awards to their trophy case at the recent ITEEA (International Technology and Engineering Educators Association Conference), April 12 to 15 in Minneapolis.

SUNY Oswego technology education graduate student Ryan Czeck received the spring 2022 Impact Scholars graduate scholarship from SUNY Oswego for a project that introduces cutting-edge technology to students earlier in their studies.

For the first time ever, the Technology Education Department will offer both remote and on-campus versions of the popular KidsTech programs in the same semester.

More schoolchildren will have access to engaging, hands-on learning experiences in STEM curriculum, and SUNY Oswego technology education students will learn how to deliver this content in person and remotely, thanks to a charitable grant provided by National Grid to Oswego KidsTech.

Technology education students and schoolchildren recently had the opportunity to connect for hands-on lessons via the first-ever virtual STEM 4 Kids and Young Inventors programs.
