SUNY Oswego student Cheyenne Sinchico was recently selected to receive a Norman R. McConney, Jr. Award for EOP Student Excellence.

Mamta Saxena, an associate professor of human development at SUNY Oswego, earned the Best Overall Presenter award for her virtual presentation of “Juggling Chaos: Gender Issues in Navigating Demands, Family Routines and Stress During the Pandemic” at the 9th World Conference on Women's Studies.

Damien Nguyen, a senior double majoring in human development and criminal justice, recently earned the statewide Norman R. McConney, Jr. Award for outstanding student excellence. This award recognizes Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) students who overcome obstacles to go above and beyond in their academic endeavors.

Mamta Saxena of SUNY Oswego’s human development faculty has earned an award from National Council on Family Relations (NCFR) for an outstanding combination of teaching, advising and scholarship.
