The annual OzFest will return on Friday, May 6, with an afternoon of activities culminating in a concert featuring Ari Lennox, B-Lovee and Angelo Mota, starting at 7 p.m. in the Deborah F. Stanley Arena and Convocation Hall.

The next installment of the I Am Oz Diversity Speaker Series, featuring award-winning author, educator and producer Ilyasah Shabazz, will take place on Monday, April 18 at 7 p.m. in the Sheldon Hall ballroom. The talk was rescheduled from a previous date but now welcomes the campus community to hear her story.

The Oswego Ski and Snowboard Club will almost literally move mountains to bring the winter sports experience to campus via the annual Rail Jam from 1 to 4 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 18.

Eddie Glaude Jr., a bestselling author and chair of the African American studies department at Princeton University, will speak to a SUNY Oswego audience at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 4 in the Marano Campus Center auditorium as part of the “I Am Oz” Diversity Speaker Series.

The popular annual ALANA (African, Latino, Asian and Native American) Conference will return with in-person presentations Sept. 21 to 27, as well as a “Migration Stories of Courage” conference theme.

The start of a new semester can mean many things for a college student, but for those that like to stay active and love playing sports it means the start of intramural sports.

The newest members of the Oswego family will enjoy a week full of activities titled Laker Launch, starting on Aug. 15, to learn more about college life and their new home.

The college’s first-ever Wellness Day -- a break in the compressed spring semester calendar on Wednesday, Feb. 24 -- will offer a day to relax, but also to take advantage of mental and physical wellness activities, ranging from fresh air at Rice Creek to arts and crafts to enjoying yoga and music.
