SUNY Oswego's 62nd annual Juried Student Exhibition, features artwork from the student body runs March 7 to April 6 in Tyler Art Gallery.

The reopening of the renovated Hewitt Hall is 200 days away as of Feb. 6, 2025! Here’s a sneak peek of the latest progress in the School of Communication, Media and the Arts’ future visual arts center in the middle of campus.

The Clay Bodies Ceramics Club will host their annual Empty Bowls fundraiser on Nov. 15 supporting the food pantries of SHOP (Students Helping Oz Peers) on campus and the Human Concerns Center in the community, with the student club hosting some opportunities starting this weekend to help create the products.

SUNY Oswego's interaction design program is relatively new, but already drawing national attention through a recent U.S. News and World Report article on "5 College Majors With Great Job Prospects."

Two exhibitions will open on Oct. 14 at the Tyler Art Gallery featuring SUNY Oswego art faculty Renqian Yang and Cara Brewer Thompson.

The renovations of iconic Hewitt Hall, with an expected completion date of August 2025, will bring to life the values of SUNY Oswego’s School of Communication, Media and the Arts: innovation, inspiration and interdisciplinary collaboration. This $80 million project converts the historic former student union into a state-of-the-art media and visual arts center, creating an “arts corridor” between Tyler and Hewitt halls.

A new opportunity from SUNY's Office of Global Affairs resulted in 13 Oswego students receiving new Global Learning for All scholarships.

SUNY Oswego's Tyler Art Gallery will open its exhibitions for 2024-25 with "Figuratively Speaking," running from Sept. 3 to Oct. 6, with an opening reception on Friday Sept. 6, from 5-7 p.m. at the first-floor gallery in Tyler Hall.

Esfir Pievskaya, a double major in English and illustration, has earned a competitive Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship for an opportunity this fall in Italy.

"One City. One Campus. One Community." -- a project supported by SUNY Oswego, the City of Oswego Mayor's Office and the joint Campus-City Relations Committee -- unveiled student photography promoting features and connections around the community on May 1 in Oswego's City Hall.
