SUNY Oswego and the state Educational Opportunity Program offered a “once in a lifetime” opportunity for Carlos Minaya, the difference between a perilous path and his exciting future working in the one of the world’s top accounting firms.

Campus Compact recently named Joseph DiLuca, a fourth-year accounting/MBA major, one of only 268 Newman Civic Fellows nationwide for 2018-19, thanks to his sustained community service, including raising awareness of the dangers of food allergies as a way to share lessons from his cousin's death.

Robert E. Moritz ’85, chairman of PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) International Limited, will address "Global Trends and Building Skills for the Future" during a presentation 4:30-6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 12, in the Marano Campus Center auditorium.

In concert with the New York State Society of CPAs, every summer SUNY Oswego hosts the Career Opportunities in the Accounting Profession for minority high school students around the region. The residential four-day program showcases opportunities and builds skills for the world of business.

SUNY Oswego's student-driven Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program, currently providing free tax-return services to local residents, recently earned perfect marks from an Internal Revenue Service field site visit.
