A broadcasting major from Manhattan, Azariah Raveneau transferred to Oswego from Onondaga Community College.
Why did you choose Oswego?
I decided to come to Oswego mainly because of soccer, but I also visited friends who live in the area, and I liked what I saw, which convinced me to come here even more.
What is your major, and why did you choose it?
I am a Broadcasting major, and I chose it because I want to be a sports broadcaster one day, talking about the big games on the big stage.
Tell us about your Oswego experience.
My time at Oswego has been good so far. I'm on the men's soccer team, which has gotten me a lot closer to people, which is good as a transfer student.
In what ways did you feel supported in the transition to become a Laker?
I feel very supported being part of the ACE (Advancing Completion through Engagement) program. They have little seminars that teach us about life as a student, and I can always go to them when I need some help.
