Oswego students can explore international opportunities via a virtual study-abroad fair from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 9.

Every fall, the campus hosts a study-abroad fair for students to discover all the opportunities available to them to study abroad. This year the event will be virtual, allowing students to drop in anytime during the event to chat (text and/or video) with study-abroad coordinators from across SUNY and find the programs that fit their needs.

The virtual event will feature:

  • Over 800 programs available through the SUNY system
  • Programs in over 60 countries around the world
  • Chat rooms with representatives from over 20 SUNY schools to answer questions
  • SUNY Oswego faculty who are planning faculty-led short term programs
  • Information on semester, summer, short-term, internships, student teaching and more!

SUNY Oswego students who participate will be entered in a drawing to win one of two $250 scholarships to apply to a future SUNY Oswego study abroad program.

Offerings include virtual study-abroad and internship opportunities as officials continue to monitor health environments, communicate with overseas partners and wait for the green light for safe travel again. This fair can be useful for students making long-term plans.

Interested students can pre-register online for instructions on how to access the event, although they also can register all the way up to and during the event.
