All students, employees, community members and alumni are invited to participate in the 7th annual Yards for Yeardley, walking to remember and to prevent dating and domestic violence.

Organizers have set an overall goal of walking, running and/or rolling 1 million yards in one day on the Academic Quad from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, April 27.

Yardley Love was a senior in college when she was killed three weeks before graduation. "We walk to honor Yeardley and all victims/survivors of dating and domestic violence," said Lisa Evaneski, the college's Title IX coordinator and lead organizer. "We walk to prevent this from happening here."

Participants are invited to create a team of club members, residents coworkers and more. Students, employees, community members and alums that are not in Oswego or that are fully remote will also be able to participate remotely.

Registration is required via a simple online form. People are also invited to text the shortlink of to friends.
