SUNY Oswego’s Winter Session will expand to three session options with a robust selection among more than 150 courses in a wide variety of subjects.

Registration has begun for the winter term, with classes beginning as early as Dec. 14 with a diverse online menu including graduate as well as undergraduate courses. Students also will be able to earn up to eight credits across the six weeks of Winter Session, increased from the four credits allowed in the past.

In addition to staying on track or getting ahead, students can use credits earned during Winter Session to maintain their Excelsior Scholarship and to keep on track for the Oswego Guarantee (ROI).

Having three sessions aims to make this time between semesters more convenient and beneficial for students to make progress on their degree from wherever they are during the winter break.

Students can select from three week courses Dec. 14 to 31 or Jan. 4 to 22, or classes that run six weeks from Dec. 14 to Jan. 22.

Classes will encompass every weekday except Christmas, New Year’s Day and the 2021 Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Jan. 18.
