Members of the campus community can find a variety of bargains through the Fall Thrift Sale running Thursday through Saturday, Aug. 26 to 28, in and around Room 133 of Marano Campus Center.
In addition to the opportunity to find deals ranging from gently used clothes and accessories to household good and even mini-fridges, the project from the Office of Sustainability is environmentally friendly in collecting literally tons of material from students moving out in the spring that might otherwise have been discarded.
The sale with run 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday and Friday, and noon to 4 p.m. Saturday. The Saturday session will feature a bag sale, where attendees can pay $5 for a bag they can fill with whatever they want to purchase.
Funds raised will support college sustainability initiatives.
