For the first time since 2019, Laker student-athletes will take to the fields and courts for fall sports.

The return starts in a big way with three home contests on Wednesday, Sept. 1: women’s soccer hosting Cazenovia at 4 p.m., men’s soccer taking on Morrisville at 4 p.m. -- both played on Laker Turf Stadium -- and women’s volleyball titling with Keuka at 7 p.m. in Laker Hall’s Max Ziel Gymnasium.

Women’s field hockey will make its home debut at 4 p.m. Friday, Sept. 3, hosting Medaille on Laker Turf Stadium.

Women’s tennis opens its home season taking on Plattsburgh at 3 p.m. Friday, Sept. 3, on the Romney Tennis Courts.

Men’s golf will host the 23rd annual Oswego State Fall Invitation at Oswego Country Club teeing at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 25, and 11 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 26.

While the men’s and women’s cross country team do not have any home meets currently scheduled, they will compete at meets and invitationals across the state, starting with running at Houghton College on Wednesday, Sept. 1.

On Wednesday morning, the athletics department released its spectator policy for those coming to root on the Lakers.
