The college’s Del Sarte Dance Club looks forward to presenting its spring recital on Friday and Saturday, April 8 and 9, at Oswego High School – its first performances there since spring 2019.

Performances will take place at 7 p.m. on April 8 and 2 p.m. on April 9, in OHS’ Ralph M. Faust Theatre.

“We have the most dances in our show this semester than we have in a while, with styles such as tap, jazz, hip-hop, lyrical, contemporary and ballet,” said Gabriele Candela, the club’s president.”

The show will be a big culminating experience for nearly 30 graduating seniors doing their final show, including the entire executive board and Candela, a double major in public relations and graphic design.

“We are all-inclusive, judgment-free and accept any students regardless of experience in order to provide a safe space for all of our dancers,” Candela noted. “I am so proud of the entire club for bouncing back this whole year and being so enthused to dance again–  and making it an unforgettable year for everyone, especially the seniors.”

Tickets are available online at tickets.oswego.edu, and are only available online in advance (i.e. will not be sold at the door). Tickets cost $3 for SUNY Oswego students, faculty, staff as well as youths; $5 for the general public.
