Enjoy a “Taste of Oz” -- apples from Ontario Orchards

Beginning today at 9 a.m., and for the remainder of the fall semester, SUNY Oswego will offer free local apples to our students and members of the campus community.

Stop by any of the following locations on campus and sample various types of apples (Honeycrisp, Ambrosia, Pink Lady and SnapDragon varieties) that have been locally grown right here in Oswego, at Ontario Orchards

Honor society installed in human development department

The department of human development at SUNY Oswego joined the leading honor society for students in human sciences as one faculty member and six students were inducted into the Nu Alpha Nu Chapter of Kappa Omicron Nu on Nov. 6, 2020.

Senior capstone seeks feedback on fasting and exercise

Student Isaiah Pominville is conducting a survey on perception of, belief of or experience with intermittent fasting and exercise for an honors thesis supervised by Amy Bidwell of the health promotion and wellness department.

Baskets of Caring fundraiser live online through Nov. 12

Baskets of Caring, one of the biggest annual fundraisers for the State Employees Federated Appeal (SEFA)-United Way campaign, will run virtually Monday through Thursday, Nov. 9 to 12.

Dear Students, Faculty, Staff and Administrators, 

SUNY Oswego will conduct a simultaneous test of the college's emergency communication systems on Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2020.

At approximately 9:45 a.m. this coming Tuesday (Nov. 10), the college will send messages via NY-Alert, the college website, campus phones including classroom and conference phones, teaching station computers, emergency broadcast system outdoor speakers, and digital signage.

Confidential burner run schedule set for 2021

The following is the schedule for Facilities Services to pick up confidential papers to be taken to the burner.

Please keep in mind that the only items meant for the burner run are items that contain confidential information and they should be kept locked up until the morning of the pick-up. You must submit an iService Request at least one week prior to the scheduled date to be added to the work order or call 315-312-3200.

SEFA campaign includes $250 gift card drawing

The college's SEFA (State Employees Federated Appeal) campaign offers a chance to win a $250 Visa Gift Card, thanks to a generous donation from Compass Credit Union.

Chances cost $2 apiece or three chances for $5. All money raised through this event will be donated to local Oswego County organizations. 

Saturday system updates may impact some services
