Tea Talk sessions return for spring semester

February 15, 2022

Tea Talk, a weekly outreach program run through the Counseling Services Center, returns at 3 p.m. every Monday in 133 Marano Campus Center.

Run by the center's Counseling Outreach Peer Educators (COPE) team members, this program provides a safe environment where anyone can come talk or even just listen. COPE offers activities every week along with the program. No reservations are needed, and anyone is welcome to check it out.

Great Lake Review to host Valentine's Day-themed open mic

The Great Lake Review student organization is hosting an Valentine's Day themed Open Mic Night with the River's End Bookstore starting at 7 p.m. on Friday, Feb 10.

Title IX Office has moved to the Institute

The college's Title IX office will now be housed within the Institute for Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Transformative Practice in Penfield Library.

Although Title IX will remain a separate department, the office will continue to prevent discrimination and elevate the LGBTQIA+ voices through programming alongside other Institute staff.

Library seeking volunteers to share their stories

Penfield Library is looking for people to share stories and have conversations at a "Laker Lives Story Sharing Event" in March.

Do you have a story to share? Penfield wants to hear from you. Organziers are particularly looking for students, faculty and staff who are interested in sharing stories about themselves that break down stereotypes and build bridges with others in the SUNY Oswego campus community.

Students can become members of Rice Creek Associates

Rice Creek Associates (RCA), the friend group of the Rice Creek Field Station (RCFS), is a community of like-minded people who share a passion for nature and a desire to support RCFS.

All members of the campus community are welcome to join, including students.

Members receive a quarterly newsletter and reduced rates on merchandise and field guides. Annual student memberships are just $5.

Undergraduate application for December 2022 graduation now open

February 3, 2022

Undergraduate students who will be graduating as of December 2022 and who have not yet filed online to graduate should do so as soon as possible. Undergraduates who will complete requirements in the fall 2022 semester should file no later than Friday, April 1, 2022 in order for their name to be listed in the commencement program.
