Her Campus to host Movie Night

The members of Her Campus will present a movie night at 6:30 p.m. tonight (Friday, April 8), and the campus community is inivted.

You can check out their Instagram account, @hercampusoswego, to see what movie will screen at the event, hosted at Premier Living Suites.

Organizers noted they would love to meet members of the campus community and learn more about them and their interests.

SEFA sale of flowering baskets to support campus, community causes

The second annual SUNY Oswego State Employees Federated Appeal (SEFA) Mother's Day Flowering Hanging Basket Sale is now open as a fundraiser supporting the Children’s Center at SUNY Oswego and Paws Across Oswego County. 

Campus community members can welcome spring by purchasing 10-inch potted baskets provided by Ontario Orchards. Options include million bells solid color, million bells mixed colors or red geraniums. 

The baskets cost $25 each.

EXCEL offering experiences students can take credit for

To access the crisis line when the office is closed, call 315.312.4416 and select 2 when prompted to speak with a counselor.

Counseling Services will reopen at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 7.

On March 9, Campus Technology Services (CTS) announced the campus will add a second layer of authentication to certain campus services including Blackboard, Zoom, Office 365, Adobe, Library databases, Administrative Banner and Spectrum U. This second layer of authentication is called multi-factor authentication (MFA) and requires the use of your normal password along with a code sent to an app or phone.

Honors Convocation set for in-person return April 8

Preparations continue for the return of the college's premier academic awards celebration, Honors Convocation. After two years of virtual presentations, award-winning students, members of the campus community, families and friends will renew this tradition at 3 p.m. Friday, April 8, in the Deborah F. Stanley Arena and Convocation Hall.
