Over the next few weeks, the Sexperts, student leaders who have extensive training in sexual and reproductive health, will offer free supplemental menstrual products to SUNY Oswego students.
Students can visit Menstruation Stations in the Marano Campus Center tabling area to pick up a variety of maxi pads and tampons, as well as a reusable storage pouch. Since menstrual products are not one-size-fits-all, this initiative is intended to provide options for all students who menstruate.
Upcoming dates for tables include:.
- April 15, 12:30 to 3 p.m.
- April 17, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- April 24, 11 a.m. to p.m.
- May 1, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The program is intended to provide emergency backup, rather than a full cycle’s supply, so students are encouraged to bring the pouches back to future Sexperts tabling events to replenish as needed.
