SUNY Oswego is expanding opportunities for prospective students this spring by offering a series of select campus events designed to help students experience the university firsthand.

Programs, including Admitted Student Days and spring open house events, will give students the opportunity to explore academic programs, connect with faculty and current students, and learn more about life at Oswego.

As part of this effort, SUNY Oswego is introducing the $500 Laker Visit Award for eligible students who attend a qualifying event and enroll at the university.

“This is about giving students the chance to experience Oswego in a real way,” said Rick Buck, interim vice president for enrollment. “When students visit campus, they can picture their future here. The Laker Visit Award adds another layer of support as they take that next step.”

Visitors can tour campus, attend academic sessions, learn more about financial aid and engage with the Oswego community.

The Laker Visit Award is available to students who attend select events and enroll at SUNY Oswego. Additional details and eligibility requirements are available online.

Students and families are encouraged to register early, as space for events may be limited.
