Students can learn about how their current involvement and leadership can translate into fulfilling careers via "So You Were Involved… Now What?: Turning involvement into interviews, offers and careers" at 5 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 19, in the Marano Campus Center auditorium (room 132).

Attendees will hear from alumni panelists including:

  • Lizeth Ortega-Bates (2021 grad): Immigration program manager and Department Of Justice accredited representative, Volunteer Lawyers Project of CNY
  • Marcus McFee-Walters, (2017 grad): Certified retirement education specialist and financial advisor, Equitable Advisors
  • Mikael Pelkey (2017 grad): Assistant district attorney - Special Victims Unit, Monroe County District Attorney’s Office
  • Alexandria Delfino (2023 grad): Operator training similation engineer, National Grid

The event is co-sponsored by Career Services and Student Engagement and Leadership.

All students are invited to attend. Organizers will raffle off gift certificates for professional attire to any student who shows up in business casual attire.

SHOP (Students Helping Oz Peers) will be on hand with professional attire options during this event.
