Activities spanning from goat yoga to an involvement fair to a hockey tailgate and much more to welcome students for the spring semester.

Monday, Jan 26 will feature a Welcome Back Open Skate from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in the Deborah F. Stanley Arena and Convocation Hall in Marano Campus Center. Admission is free for students, sponsored by the Office of the Dean of Students.

On Tuesday, Jan. 27, students are invited for a cozy night on campus with a winter movie and hot cocoa bar from 8 to 10 p.m. in the Marano Campus Center auditorium, room 132.

New and returning students can explore opportunities with some of Oswego's more than 150 student organizations during the Spring Involvement Fair from 5 to 7 p.m. in Marano Campus Center's Swetman Gym on Wednesday, Jan. 28.

A popular favorite returns on Thursday, Jan. 29 when goat yoga takes over the Swetman Gym from 6 to 8 p.m. Structured 20-minute goat yoga classes are first-come first-served and limited to the first 50 students. However free flow visits and open time to hang out with the goats will be available from 7:30 to 8 p.m.

The week also features a hockey tailgate from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 30, in the Laker Landing food court in Marano Campus Center. The tailgate will take place after Laker women's hockey hosts Canton at 3 p.m. and before the men's hockey team takes on Potsdam at 7 p.m.

In addition, the Office of Residence Life and Housing sponsors Winterfest from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 31, in Laker Landing and the Hearth Lounge in Marano Campus Center. Activities will include synthetic ice curling, build-a-buddies, DIY reed diffusers, miniature photo snow globe, basketball shootout, caricaturist, henna tattoo artist and hot chocolate bar.
