Tyler Art Gallery's Fall BFA Exhibition, running Dec. 2 to 12, celebrates graduating bachelor of fine arts students making the journey from emerging artists to professional creatives.
The campus and community are invited to an opening reception from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 5, in the gallery on the main level of Tyler Hall.
BFA exhibitions are a celebration of the students' dedication, creativity, and vision as they make their mark in the art world. Visitors can experience the diverse and innovative works that display their unique perspectives.
Featured students include Gabrielle Audi, Jamie Biggers, Shea Breese, Antonia Cantu, Justin Charsky, Vanessa Colangelo, Giovanni Ferme, Heroina Infante, Annya James, Emily Lyga, Joel Mendez, Amanda Rivera, Tatyana Rodriguez, Cyan Seibel and Sean Stack.
Throughout the exhibition, each student presents a carefully curated body of work that reflects their artistic journey, demonstrating the culmination of years of study, experimentation and growth. From conceptualization to installation, graduates take full ownership of their capstone experience: selecting, preparing and designing their displays, while also contributing text and imagery for the exhibition catalog.
Tyler Art Gallery is open from 2 to 6 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays, and form 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. The gallery is closed on Mondays, holidays and when classes are not in session.
Classes and groups may arrange after hours visitation. Please contact Davana Robedee at davana.robedee@oswego.edu if you are interested in scheduling a class or group visit outside of visiting hours.
