The Office of the Dean of Students will host weeklong campaign to raise awareness on campus about hunger and homelessness.
The campaign will run from November 16 to 22, with daily highlights and educational posts shared through the Dean of Students’ Instagram account at @ods_sunyoswego.
On Wednesday, Nov. 19, organizers will host a donation table to support students in need (monetary donations only). There will also be prizes, photos and a chance to sign a banner in support.
The goal of this campaign is to identify and support students facing housing or food insecurity and to educate the campus community about the realities and impact of these challenges among college students.
The Dean of Students Office's support services include the Students Helping Oz Peers pantry in Penfield Library as well as on the university's Syracuse Campus. To learn more, visit the SHOP website.
