The Hazing Prevention and Education Committee will host Oswego's third annual Hazing Prevention Week from October 13 to 17.

Organizers invite all faculty and staff to take part in an important conversation on the role of advisors in fostering safe, inclusive student organizations. This interactive workshop, presented by Mike Ayalon, CEO and founder of Greek University, will explore findings from “Hazing in College Fraternities and Sororities: A Phenomenological Study,” which examines how student affairs professionals and advisors understand hazing and navigate the complex line between new member education and harmful practices.

The committee hopes you join your fellow Lakers in taking a stance against hazing at one of the many events happening throughout the week. See the calendar of events below or log in to Laker Life for additional details.
