The Department of Psychological Sciences honored 40 students at the Psi Chi induction ceremony on Sept. 26, 2025.
The students pledged to uphold this international honor society's mission, which is to "recognize and promote excellence in the science and application of psychology." Lifetime membership is open to all undergraduate students who have excelled in psychology-related courses and who have also maintained high overall grade point averages.
This year, the SUNY Oswego chapter inducted students who are majoring or minoring in psychology, majoring in philosophy-psychology, or who are participating in the college’s five-year dual-degree programs in psychology/business Aadministration (BA/MBA) or psychology/human-computer interaction (BA/MA). Matthew Dykas serves as the chapter's faculty advisor.
