SUNY Oswego’s prominent tradition of the Welcoming Torchlight Ceremony will resume as an in-person event this year to kick off a renewing slate of fall activities.
All are welcome to participating in the 32nd annual Welcoming Torchlight Ceremony at 9 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 20, in the Marano Campus Center Convocation hall and arena. All attendees must wear a mask/face covering at this indoor event.
All faculty and staff are encouraged to join the inner circle for the event, and to wear their academic regalia (which is optional). RSVP by Aug. 19, at alumni.oswego.edu/welcomingtorchlight to participate in the inner circle portion of the event.
