The third annual dodgeball tournament sponsored by University Police, starting at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 5, will help ring in some holiday cheer for the SUNY Oswego Toy Drive.

All are welcome to participate or come watch the event. Donations of toys will be collected at the door. The entrance fee to play is a minimum of two toys. All other donations are more then welcome, with food and drink served as well.

Toy Drive continues

The SUNY Oswego Toy Drive, in its 32nd year, partners with the Oswego County children's fund to ensure each child in the county has a gift to open during the holiday season. Members of the campus community are invited to help by selecting a paper ornament from one of the trees in buildings around campus -- with each tag bearing basic information on a particular child -- and selecting an appropriate unwrapped gift, which can be left under the tree.

Those who would prefer to participate with a monetary donation (checks can be made out to "SUNY Oswego Toy Drive") can send it to Casey Walpole, 138 Rich Hall. The last toy pickup is scheduled for Wednesday, Dec. 11.
