A Town Hall hosted by SUNY Oswego's Office of Diversity and Inclusion will discuss SUNY Oswego’s implementation of Executive Order 31, New York State’s commitment to becoming a model employer for people with disabilities. It will take place at at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 10, at 2:00 p.m. in the Sheldon Hall ballroom.
Light refreshments will be served.
This Town Hall will provide an opportunity to learn more about the executive order, recent developments related to Americans with Disabilities Act compliance, and ongoing efforts to support employees with disabilities. The event will include a panel discussion, moderated by Affirmative Action Officer Anneke McEvoy, which will explore priorities and resources for current employees, as well as opportunities to collaborate with regional partners to expand university capacity to employ people with disabilities.
The panel discussion will be followed by a Q&A session, with time for attendees to share questions, concerns and insights to help inform future work.
