Zully Ramirez, an investigative reporter for Telemundo Chicago, will speak at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 29, in 101 Lanigan Hall.

Ramirez focuses on investigative and consumer protection journalism offering Spanish-speaking consumers opportunities for their concerns to be addressed in various markets throughout the United States and Puerto Rico. Originally from Guatemala, Ramirez also has worked for Univision and is a member of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists. She will speak about her career path, the current work she does, advice for students, and balancing this with dual language and culture in the United States. 

The lecture is free and open to all.
