The campus and community are invited to step into an afternoon where ideas ignite and stories spark change as TEDxSUNY Oswego returns from 2 to 5 p.m. on Friday, March 6, in the Hewitt Hall ballroom.

The second annual edition will feature a dynamic lineup of speakers and this year’s theme is: Inspiration — celebrating the moments, movements and mindsets that push the world forward.

Students, faculty, alumni and community members are invited to immersive TEDx experience filled with thought-provoking talks, fresh perspectives and unforgettable storytelling. From groundbreaking breakthroughs to deeply personal journeys, every speaker brings a message designed to challenge your thinking and expand what you believe is possible.

Speakers for the 2026 edition include:

  • Sarah Bonzo, associate professor and chair of SUNY Oswego's Marketing and Management Department, will present "Go See, Ask Why, Show Respect"
  • Indie Lee, a 1993 SUNY Oswego graduate, entrepreneur and founder of a namesake skincare company, "From Chaos to Clarity"
  • Emma Halsey, a SUNY Oswego student leader and senior majoring in business administration and in information science, "Connection Isn’t All or Nothing"
  • Damian Schofield, computer science professor and director of SUNY Oswego's master's in human-computer interaction program, "Seeking Humanity in an AI World: Can Machines Inspire Us ?"
  • William F. Precht, a 1978 SUNY Oswego graduate and director of coastal and marine sciences for Bio-Tech Consulting, "Harnessing the Inspiration that Surrounds Us"
  • Tamar Greene, a 2009 Oswego graduate, Broadway performer (including George Washington in "Hamilton"), educator and advocate, "Behind the Biggest Instrument: The Power of Small Yeses"
