Steve McAfee has been named interim general manager for Auxiliary Services. A national search for a new general manager will begin in the fall semester. After 35+ years of service to SUNY Oswego, Auxiliary Services General Manager Michael Flaherty retired this summer.
McAfee has served as Auxiliary Services director of retail dining and catering since 2009. He has a bachelor of science in hotel and restaurant management from University of Massachusetts at Amherst and an MBA from SUNY Oswego.
McAfee has a long career in the food and restaurant industry, including with ARAMARK, Panera Bread, 99 Restaurant group and SUNY Cortland's Auxiliay Services Dining Team.
