In addition to traditional Oswego KidsTech: STEM 4 Kids (grades K-3) or Young Inventors (grades 4-6) four-week classes in April, this semester the campus will host KidsTech STEM Warm-up Activities in February. These sessions invite children to enjoy an exciting STEM activity during their winter breaks and for new children to try out one of the iSTEM (integrative Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) lessons led by the Oswego Technology Student Association and pre-service technology education teachers at SUNY Oswego.
The STEM Winter Warm-up Activity dates are 6 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 20 for STEM 4 Kids grades K-3; and 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 21, for Young Inventors grades 4-6. Snow dates are the following week, Feb 27 and Feb 28, respectively.
Registration for the STEM Winter Warm Up Activity is open through Feb. 17. There is no registration fee, but online registration is required.
